Brother Culture<\/strong> nel 1983 ha iniziato ad esibirsi come MC per il ‘Jah Revelation Muzik’ sound system, a quei tempi uno dei sound pi\u00f9 in rilievo del Roots made in UK. Di base a Brixton, Brother Culture fu al centro dell\u2019esplosione degli MC londinesi.<\/p>\n

Nel 1985 part\u00ec per Jamaica, USA, Canada e Trinidad ed al suo ritorno a Londra cominci\u00f2 ad esibirsi in un locale chiamato Dub Club, dove approfond\u00ec i rapporti con i maggiori esponenti del circuito UK Roots. Questo lo port\u00f2 alla sua prima collaborazione con Adrian Sherwood: \u2018Frankenstein\u2019 scritta e registrata da Brother Culture con il leggendario Little Roy.<\/p>\n

Durante gli anni 90, quando anche la scena Roots londinese inizi\u00f2 a cambiare, Brother Culture venne in contatto con produttori e sound system pi\u00f9 orientati al dub quali: Manasseh, Mad Proffersor, Mungos Hi Fi etc. Arrivarono alcune importanti produzioni quali ‘Mungos Hi Fi meets Brother Culture’ (Dubhead 2002)e \u2018Foundation Rockers\u2019 (Twlight Dub Sound )<\/p>\n

Nel 2002 Brother Culture incontr\u00f2 Youth, il quale gli sugger\u00ec di produrre un album con Nick Manasseh , visto il magico feeling che si instaurava quando i due si riunivano. Il risultato di questo incontro lo potete ascoltare nell\u2019album \u2018Isis\u2019: un viaggio in puro stile UK Roots contaminato dalla variet\u00e0 e dal sapore della scena Urban, con l\u2019intento di far rivivere la vibrazione dei sound system anni 80 con l\u2019aggiunta di sonorit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 moderne. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
